M.E. Publications is a global publishing house dedicated to the advancement of refereed literary works and academic arts. Every publication undergoes a rigorous evaluation process to ensure the highest standards of quality, scholarly integrity, and creative excellence.




I. PUBLICATION CATEGORIES
We accept original manuscripts in both English and Filipino for the following categories:

Creative Works: Poetry suites (3-5 poems), Flash Fiction (Dagli), Short Stories, Essays, and Memoirs.

Scholarly & Academic Texts: Critical articles on language, arts, and culture (manuscripts derived from theses or dissertations must undergo significant revision for publication).

Anthologies: Curated collections of works from various contributors for special National and International editions.
II. SUBMISSION STANDARDS (Basic Requirements)
All initial submissions must adhere to the following technical specifications:

Format: Microsoft Word file (.doc or .docx).

Typography: 12pt font size; Arial or Crimson Text; Double-spaced.
-
Pagination: Sequential page numbers centered at the footer.

The Author’s Kit: Submit two (2) separate copies of the manuscript:

Full Copy: Contains the author’s complete biographical information.

Anonymized Copy: All identifying markers removed to facilitate a double-blind review.

Cover Letter: Addressed to the Executive Creative Director, providing a brief abstract of the work and the author’s contact details.
III. EVALUATION PROCESS (Double-Blind Peer Review)
To maintain our refereed status, all works pass through our Triple-Check System:

Preliminary Screening: Initial assessment by Technical Editors for originality (AI & Plagiarism Check) and thematic relevance.

Peer Review: Anonymized manuscripts are forwarded to two (2) independent evaluators from our International Editorial Pool.

Editorial Decision: Authors will receive the results (Accepted, For Revision, or Declined) within 30 to 60 days.
IV. PRODUCTION AND DESIGN

Editorial Revisions: Manuscripts requiring changes will be returned to the author. The author retains the creative freedom to address reviewer suggestions.

Book Design: M.E. Publications appoints the official designer for cover art and interior layout. Final decisions regarding trim size, paper stock, and aesthetics rest with the Press to maintain global branding standards.

Legal & Registration: The Publisher manages the application for ISBN and CIP with the National Library of the Philippines.
V. THE REFEREED ARCHIVE (Registry & Verification)

Editorial Revisions: Manuscripts requiring changes will be returned to the author. The author retains the creative freedom to address reviewer suggestions.

Book Design: M.E. Publications appoints the official designer for cover art and interior layout. Final decisions regarding trim size, paper stock, and aesthetics rest with the Press to maintain global branding standards.

Legal & Registration: The Publisher manages the application for ISBN and CIP with the National Library of the Philippines.
VI. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

Who owns the Copyright? The author retains copyright over the content. The Publisher retains the copyright over the specific book design, layout, and collective format.

Are there publication fees? Costs for copyediting, layout, and ISBN registration vary by project type (sponsored, collaborative, or subsidy-based). Please refer to the specific Call for Entries for each project.

Where are the books available? Our publications are available through our online bookstore, official social media platforms, and partner distributors.
