Our
Story

The Association of Social Science Educators for Traditions and Treasures (ASSETT) of the Philippines, Inc. began as a vision among passionate educators, uniting Social Science teachers from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Basic Education across the nation. Officially approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), ASSETT is dedicated to improving instructional delivery in Social Sciences by enhancing its members’ competence in pedagogy and content through capability-building seminars and workshops.

Additionally, ASSETT creates opportunities for its officers and members to become resource speakers, authors, and researchers both locally and internationally. Their commitment includes championing nationalism and patriotism through various discourses, programs, and activities, while also advocating for the maintenance and preservation of culture and tradition. The organization provides opportunities for webinars and seminars for students enrolled in Social Sciences, providing insights and knowledge from expert practitioners.

ASSETT strives to be a voice in promoting national awareness on rights and privileges, aiming to provide solutions for social problems. As the organization continues to grow, its mission remains clear: to empower educators and students alike while fostering a vibrant community committed to excellence in Social Science education. Join them on this journey!
